BIO
Caroline Mohr née Larsson

In 1988, I was born in the small village Forshaga where I also grew up. From a very early age, I was a very sportive girl who loved to compete and even more connect with my team mates. Sport was always big part of my life and I managed to qualify for the Swedish Championship cup in floorball at the ages of 15 and 17.

In 2004, as a 16-year-old I moved away from home to attend golf high school.
My ambitions about golf were big, my dreams was to play as a professional on tour and travel the world.

In 2009, I attended golf college in the US, in Newberry South Carolina div ll.
The experience was amazing, however, I decided to go back home after only one semester to turn PRO and start playing on the Swedish tour.

In 2010, I played great on the Swedish Tour and succeeded to qualify for PGA Status (member of Professional Golf Association.) This meant I was now ready to start my most exciting journey and trained to qualify for the Ladies European Tour.

In 2011, I survived an earthquake in New Zeeland and only weeks after I was diagnosed with cancer. The only way to survive was to amputate my right leg above the knee. My career and my life were put on hold for a while, but I didn't give up on my dreams. Even though I was facing loss and had to tackle challenges along the way, I was determined not to let my positive outlook on life disappear.

Two months after the surgery, I made a comeback on the golf course playing the Swedish Championship for pros - on one leg.
Success was a big factor and despite all the struggle, I still found the strength to start giving lectures about my story - in order to help others.

As a result I was featured in Fox News Arizona, The Times London, Sky Sports and ESPN, to name just a few.

In 2012, I started my speaking career and won Swedish and European Champion in paragolf. I was invited to play in a Pro Am on the Ladies European Tour together with Carin Koch, former Solheim cup captain.

In 2013, I continued to inspire my audience and won World Champion in paragolf.

In 2014, I retreived my PGA status and made my first cut in a Professional event. I was asked to attend and speak at the castle of Heidelberg at the pre-event for the Solheim Cup in Germany. Followed up by a personal invitation to eat dinner with His Royal Highness, Carl XVI Gustav of Sweden on his visit to my hometown. The same year, I was also selected as an Ambassador for the foundation Star For Life.

In 2015, I was asked to carry the European flag at the opening ceremony at Solheim Cup in St. Leon-Rot Germany. I also made my second win as a European Champion in paragolf. I started holding lectures in Europe and got the chance to go speak in the jungle of Costa Rica. I also started to educate myself in NLP.

In 2016, I finished my golf career and decided to speak full time. I was invited to speak at the most prestigious golf course in the world, St Andrews and a partnership with Allianz was getting started. I was awarded with "This year's breakthrough as a speaker" from SAJ Speaker bureau. I also finished my degree in NLP Practitioner level.

In 2017, I was portrayed in the St Andrews yearbook for golfers and officially became an Allianz Brand Ambassador Globally. I decided to start a fundraising project to support education for a school in South Africa within the Star For Life program and I managed to raise enough money to sponsor a school for three years. In the same year, I started coaching a team of five professional golfers and three amateurs towards the Swedish Championships. I also started my NLP Master education.

In 2018, I got married and changed my last name to Mohr. During this year I also raised more money for my school in South Africa and secured education for 350 kids until 2023. I am once again featured in the St Andrews yearbook with a second edition. I also finished my NLP Master degree and started to offer workshops as an addition to my speeches. I am currently writing a book.

My story is about being strong and making a comeback as well as having compassion for the process in order to connect with the whole picture of yourself. By acknowledging this, I believe there are no limits of what we can achieve.
